Privacy Policy

RayCrestMDS stores workspace data on your Mac. This may include sequence files, plasmids, features, primers, proteins, primer library records, sequencing evidence, reports, notes, and related project data.

RayCrestMDS does not upload this workspace data to RayCrest Software. RayCrestMDS does not operate a cloud synchronization service for v1.0.

RayCrestMDS v1.0 does not use RayCrest-hosted analytics, telemetry, advertising trackers, or behavioral tracking.

RayCrestMDS does not automatically send sequence data, plasmid data, primer library data, reports, primers, proteins, or workspace files to RayCrest Software.

If you contact RayCrest Software for support, you may choose to send us information such as your name, email address, screenshots, crash logs, diagnostic logs, or sample files.

Crash logs and diagnostic logs may include technical information such as app version, macOS version, device model, crash stack traces, file paths, workspace names, or recent app activity. Please do not send sensitive sequence, clinical, proprietary, or confidential lab data unless you are comfortable sharing it with RayCrest Software for support.

We use support information only to respond to your request, diagnose issues, improve RayCrestMDS, and maintain app reliability.

RayCrestMDS does not run its own automatic crash-report upload service in v1.0. If you send crash logs to RayCrest Software, they are sent by you, usually by email or another support channel you choose.

Apple may separately process App Store, purchase, and diagnostic information under Apple's own policies and systems.

If RayCrestMDS is purchased or subscribed to through Apple, payment processing is handled by Apple. RayCrest Software does not receive your payment card number or full Apple account credentials.

RayCrestMDS may use Apple-provided purchase or subscription status to enable RayCrest Pro features.

When you visit raycrestmds.com, our website host may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and timestamps for security, reliability, and basic server operation.

RayCrestMDS.com does not currently use Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Segment, advertising pixels, or email signup scripts.

The website source reviewed for v1.0 does not set RayCrest analytics or advertising cookies. Website hosting and security services may use cookies or similar browser storage for security, reliability, and anti-abuse purposes.

If you contact support or submit a purchase, support, or product inquiry, RayCrest Software collects the information you provide, such as name, email address, organization, and message content. Forms may also use IP address and timestamps for security, rate limiting, and spam prevention.

Third-party infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver the site, protect forms, and prevent abuse.

RayCrest Software does not use website data for behavioral advertising.

RayCrest Software does not sell personal information. RayCrest Software does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information only with service providers that help us operate the website, email, support, security checks, form handling, or app distribution, or when required by law.

We retain support emails, purchase inquiries, support inquiries, crash logs, and diagnostic information only as long as reasonably needed for support, account or purchase help, debugging, security, legal, or business purposes.

You may ask us to delete support information or inquiry information you previously sent to us.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information sent to us. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should avoid sending sensitive or confidential sequence data unless needed for support.

RayCrestMDS is intended for professional, research, and educational molecular biology workflows. It is not directed to children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as RayCrestMDS changes. The effective date above will be updated when we make material changes.
