1.0.0
RayCrest MDS v1.0 focuses on end-to-end construct work on macOS, from sequence import through validation, cloning setup, protein context, and figure export.
New
- Import and edit DNA sequences from GenBank, FASTA, and SnapGene
.dnain one local workflow. - Review constructs in
Sequenceview, then move directly into circular map export for figures and handoff files. - Validate constructs with Sanger traces or FASTQ-supported sequencing review in the same workspace.
- Run multiple sequence alignment, then export alignments or trees without leaving the app.
- Design primers, review plasmid history, and use built-in lab calculators alongside active construct work.
Known issues
- Native Geneious files still need to be re-exported as GenBank or FASTA before import.
- Protein sequence input is not part of the normal DNA import flow.
- SnapGene
.dnaexport is not available in v1.0.
